Holidays are so important for people to get a break from work and routine and we both feel that we should make the cottage as comfortable and nice to stay in as possible for our guests. Liz and her team do a brilliant job of every changeover and I am confident that they will always endeavour to work to the high standard requied at 5* gold level".

“We enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable and cosy cottage very much. Very well equipped with everything we needed. Richmond was a great place to explore. We were lucky enough to experience the market on Saturday. We enjoyed the circular walk to Easby via the old railway track and returning by the path on the opposite bank. Also the walk from the bridge to the station and then back through the gardens with good views of the falls. Georgian Theatre tour was a highlight - what a treasure. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. PS Your gardens are amazing and it was so nice to be able to explore them.”

"We had the best trip at this cottage! It is in the best location, a little bit away from the town centre but very walkable to everything you need. The rooms are all fabulous and the garden is lovely! About 30 minutes from Durham if you want to do a day trip. For a meal out, we enjoyed The Station. They also have very nice ice-cream. Lots of fantastic walks right from your doorstep. Would 100% book again. Thank you Marcia and Dennis."
